OMKARA Nights melds listeners and performers into a memorable evening of music like never before. All levels of age, region and skill-levels from the local Detroit area are invited to watch, hum along or take the mic. No competition or judging, this is simply a joyful celebration of music with like-minded friends, new and old.
Oh, and there is no waiting in lines, fighting for parking spots, being jostled by strangers or stuck-up superstars... In a respectful and dignified ambience with top-of-the-line audio/video system and charming hosts, this limited-seating evening includes:
a) Solo, duet and group karaoke singing;
b) Wildly creative musical challenges and games;
c) Unplugged sing-alongs with live music;
d) An epic non-stop medley;
e) Pizza dinner, snacks and refreshments.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Only performance ticket-holders have confirmed stage spots for ONE SOLO and ONE DUET/GROUP song. This is subject to reasonable singing/performing skills (please send a short audio recording clip via Whatsapp or email), but please rest assured we are very easy-going in this...
